Simon Triebel belongs to the first camp of lyricists and songwriters in German. As guitarist of the band Juli, he wrote hits such as "Perfekte Welle", "Geile Zeit" or "Elektrisches Gefühl". His collaboration with artists such as Udo Lindenberg, Adel Tawil, Tim Bendzko, Mark Forster or Sarah Connor and many more led to numerous gold and platinum awards and hits such as "Nur noch kurz die Welt retten" (Tim Bendzko), "Durch die schweren Zeiten" (Udo Lindenberg), "Ist da jemand" (Adel Tawil) or "Flash mich" (Mark Forster).

He also gained great international success with the Spanish newcomer Alvaro Soler. The song "El Mismo Sol" feat. Jennifer Lopez was one of the biggest summer hits in Europe and Latin America in 2015 and led to several nominations at the Latin American Music Awards 2016 in Los Angeles.  Songs like "Magia", "Sofia" and "La cintura" climbed and peaked charts worldwide.

Simon Triebel had also been nominated for the Gema Music Authors Award in the category "Composition Rock/Pop" for his successes.
